My style isn't complete....I know that is a strange thing to say but I am constantly finding things I like and add them into the style.
Most of the time it can be as simple as a eye style change or a complete rework of the style. My style went from a very Japanese inspired style when I first started and then I learned a friend and fellow artist about drawing with a more Chinese flair. I learned from a book called How To Draw Kung Fu Comics (yes that is the actual name) and retain some of what I learned from the book. Now I mainly learn from what ever artist or tutorial I find while looking for references.
Still my biggest thing I still need to learn is to draw HANDS. I can draw them...when I have using a reference but I want to learn the basics of building a hand. One day I will learn the secret but hopefully I can get some advice from the community.
Last thing I want to mention is what I draw on. I used to draw with pen and paper but I discovered drawing digitally and slowly over the past few years move digitally. I currently draw using a Ipad Pro 11in (Current 2020 model). I use it as my digital sketchbook only and have enjoyed using it. Eventually I want to get a Wacom Cintiq but I am not about to break my bank....yet. So till then I got my Ipad Pro and Apple Pencil.
